Is it a skirt? Are they pants? A little of both? They’re extra wide-legged, ankle-length, crinkle cotton palazzo pants. And while they don’t look remarkable on the hanger, once you try them on, you’ll want to wear them with everything. The secret is the wide ruched waistband that’s super comfy, not frumpy. Think Katherine Hepburn’s famous trousers meets your favorite art teacher’s boho broomstick skirt. The forgiving texture hides a multitude of travel sins, but with a piece this versatile, over-packing won’t be one of them. Handmade in a small workshop in northern Thailand.
To maintain the wavy texture, you can twist the fabric when it's still damp from the washing machine and let it dry that way.
We recommend washing dark colors separately and drying on low heat or out of direct sunlight to minimize shrinkage and keep the colors true.
Tremendously comfortable, soft pants. I like them so much, I bought a second color. The only issue I’ve had is that the fabric is so light that it easily ripped along the seam. But because it was along the seam, it was very easy to mend.
I bought this for casual use but discovered that a jacket I have really dresses it up. The fabric is light enough to wear on a hot day as a cross between cropped pants and a long skirt. Might buy another color.
I love my pants! Rather like a culotte, these soft, gauzy pants are so perfect for any day - anywhere - I think I'm just going to have to get the other color today!!
