In a workshop near the birding hotspot of Lake Atitlán, Guatemala, Tz’utujil Mayan women hand-sew tiny glass beads onto a laser-cut brass oval. The curves and colors are inspired by the swooping tailfeathers of the quetzal, Guatemala’s glorious national bird.
Broken when they arrived, missing one of the shepherds hooks. Also the color is disappointing, very vibrant in the pics, dull and washed out in person. I will be returning for a full refund. At over $20.00 very disappointing, not the quality I was expecting.
The ratings are simply beautiful, delicate and will look excellent with any summer dress. Can"t wait for arrival of warm weather..
