Weavers at the grand Muckross estate in Killarney keep Irish tradition alive through craft. Visitors can see weaving in action on the same 19th-century Hattersley loom that is used to produce this soft and springy, merino-cashmere scarf. The color palette reflects the rural landscapes of County Kerry, where Muckross House is located.
Since it’s a Christmas gift, and it’s not yet Christmas, I’m not sure what my recipient thinks about their gift.
I’ve looked at this scarf all year. When it went on sale I just had to go for it. So glad I did...goes with so many outfits!
