Fragments of windows, bottles, and other cast off pieces of glass get a renewed life in these weighty beads, handcrafted by members of Ghana’s Krobo tribe. The pieces are ground into a powder, poured into handmade clay molds, and fired in an outdoor kiln. The result is a rustic, upcycled bead—or bodum—with the sand-cast texture of sea glass. Here, ocean-colored beads alternate with clear glass discs, strung on generous elastic to fit most wrists. As each bead is handcrafted using recycled materials, please accept small variations as evidence of its one-of-a-kind story.
I love to wear stretch bracelets and needed a blue one. This set is perfect to wear separately or together. I was very happy with the quality of the upcycled glass beads. I am very happy with the bracelet and the customer service. Thank you!
These bracelets are a nice imitation of sea glass and blend well with denim, soft greens, or other blues, worn together or alone.
Great looking bracelets. Well made and well received. It's hard to believe that
the bracelets were crafted from recycled materials.
I loved my bracelets! They looked like real beach glass which was the look
I was going for, very rustic and natural looking. Perfect for wearing at the beach.
I was concerned they might run small but I found them very stretchy and ample.
I will order another set for my niece for Christmas
