Description
Henri Matisse called his paper cutouts “drawing with scissors” and often used them as a way to work out ideas for larger paintings. Here, a California designer takes Matisse’s shapes, then rotates and repeats them to create a textile pattern that would be at home in Matisse’s sketchbook. Printed on a soft heather gray knit poly blend.

Gift for my artist sister-in-law

She loved the bright colors and the soft, supple feel of the scarf. It goes with so many colors. She was thrilled with this unexpected gift.

Fun scarf

This is my second scarf from this line and I love the interesting design and colors. It’s lightweight but could be warm if wrapped up around the neck. I bought it wear over tee shirts just draped around my neck! Both tees are winners!

She loved the scarf

I gave the scarf as a gift to an artist friend. She agreed that the pattern was reminiscent of Matisse's cut-outs. She thinks the colors in it are compatible with many other colors, so she can wear it with many outfits.
