Abstract art pioneer Wassily Kandinski was known for his vivid primary colors and expressive black brush strokes, and here his art jazzes up a lightweight, woven wool scarf. This design is adapted from a 1911 painting. Amazing that art from more than 110 years ago can be so energizing to wear.
I recently purchased the Primary Pioneer Scarf for my cousin’s birthday. The photo of the scarf showed much yellow but even though my cousin’s colors are more blues and purples, I ordered it. To my delight, the scarf was darker than the photo showed and the colors were perfect. My cousin loved it and received many compliments.
The scarf is narrower than it looked in the picture.
Had seen this a while ago, but no “need” so passed it up. Then an invitation and it is mine! Beautifully done; colors as shown; fabric of both the jacket and scarf feel like silk. Can’t wait to wear it often in many different ways. Thank You!!
I love them both, but unfortunately I needed a larger size. I decided to sew the scarf to the jacket front, so it covers up the fact that the jacket is too small. I see that you are carrying sizes larder that "Large" on your newer items . I am glad of that.
