A new addition to our Impressionist artist apparel collection—this colorful tunic based Van Gogh’s beloved “Irises” painting, now in the Getty Museum in Los Angeles. The swingy, slightly A-line cut adds movement and breathing room as it flows comfortably around the waist and hips. A touch of spandex helps the supersoft brushed knit keep its shape. Single front pocket with button detail.
The colors are rich, and the top hangs perfectly..and the price was right!
Very happy about purchase.
I feel like I am wearing spring, even in the winter. The colors, the fabric, the style, everything is just right. You know that sense of expectation that comes with spring, well this top can create the same feeling. Something wonderful is bound to happen when I am wearing it.
The "placement" of the white iris splotches on this garment is extremely distracting. The fabric is comfortable but design placement makes this a less universal garment than I had hoped it would be.
I do not like the details of the front of this top. It is very irregular looking. There is a sewn seam that runs the entire length of the front of the shirt that looks like it should not be there. It looks like a hem finishing stitch. Very odd. The front hem of the top is uneven, by a few inches. The middle does not meet together by about 3 inches. The pocket is sewn on very strangely. One corner of the bottom of the pocket is hanging about 2-3 inches below the hem, while the other bottom corner of the pocket is attached up on the body of the front. Looks like my grand daughter (7 years old) made it. I am going to try and fix it because I like the fabric, but it looks ridiculous! Wish I hadn't gotten it--very disappointed!!!
